Daa Naa, Daa Naa...

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water... We had another ultrasound two days ago, and everything seems to be on course. I don't have a picture of the sonogram, but through a new complicated technology called Crayola, I have tried to duplicate what Suzy and I see at our weekly doctor visits. What do you think?
Here, also is a picture of Suzy's belly. She's all belly, even to me. The other day, I was introducing Suzy to a former student we had run into, and I actually introduced her as her belly. Yea, I said, "This is my wife Suzy," and suddenly realized that I had my hand on her belly and was looking only at it--and smiling proudly. Yea, oops! Apparently, the rest of her is all appendage...
Nothing to report today, except that Suzy is continuing to do extraordinarily well. Doctors are very pleased, though there is always the sense that the three miracles can make their grand entrance at any time. Aside from that, we have also set up the last four appointments (assuming we get that far). Here's the schedule:
July 31st--Last appointment with our specialist. That date signals the end of any attempt to forestall labor if it should come early.
August 7th--normal ultrasound.*
August 11th--normal ultrasound.*
August 19th--normal ultrasound.*
August 25th-- C-section.
*Of course, it's funny to think that any of all this could pass as normal.

Now throw into that schedule a soccer camp and the school year starting, and you can get how quickly August will happen for us. Like lightning. Oh, by the way, I soon will send out emails to announce a meeting to all of you who said you would be willing and able to volunteer to help us get pass our first few months (--it will be at our place around August 15th or so--we're waiting to see what Suzy's mom's schedule will be).
I'll update this again soon. Keep checking back. Joe
