Happy Birthday!

No, the babies are not yet born. But Suzy is 31. Yep, as many of you know, Suzy turned 31 a couple of days ago. In other words, she is an old lady. Don't believe me? Check out the picture.

Well, you'll have to take my word for it. Unfortunately, that's the longest shot I could take of her anymore. Yes, the belly has grown and is growing still. The house shrinks. I shrink. The world map in the basement gains longitudinal lines. Awesome! There simply isn't a better word: awesome.
And Suzy's swell. Incredibly, she is still moving around as she wishes. She has had some trouble sleeping lately, but, at this point, any trouble only seems to remind us how lucky she has been: so little trouble, so far into her "at risk" pregnancy.

We went to our last appointment with our specialist. All things are looking up. That means we have crossed the threshold before which they would have tried to postpone birth. That's right, if it comes, it comes. Paris, that means August 24th is still in play. In fact, our specialist told us of another triplet mama who had been doing as well as Suzy and who went into labor one day before her scheduled c-section. If that happens, Paris and the triumviri will share their birthdays.

The babies are all over 4 lbs. each, the cervix is the right length, and we are within three weeks of our c-section date. Next appointment is in two days.

Way to go, Old Lady.
